Do you have a quothomequot phone?
Lets face it.... landline phones are becoming a thing of the past. Do YOU have a phone in your house and why or why not?
Yes.brbrIts an essential device. If the power fails, like in a natural disaster, it will usually work even when all other services do not. Your cell phone will eventually die.... or the power at the cell tower will be out too.... rendering your cell phone useless. Also, if the power is out, the cable modem phones, or internet phones, cannot work. The standard land line phone, the old telephony standard, is powered by volts of DC power. Each Central Office located within about miles of your home has giant diesel engine generators that kick on automatically when the phone service dies.brbrAlso the old fashion telephone companies dispatch trucks to high elevations to transmit your HiCapacity lines via microwave to bypass dead areas that occur if trees or the like brings down poles that supported phone lines.brbrIf youre out of power for a week or more.... youll really know how important the land line corded not cordless is.... and you would NEVER be without one again.
Do you have anything bothering you right now?
Yes. My friend came over to my new apartment last night and drank too much. She wound up puking on my sons bedroom floor. I had to get up early for work while she was still sleeping. When I got home today, I found the giant puddle of vomit on the floor covered with a towel. I would rather move out and lose my deposit than clean it up. Thats bothering me more than anything else right now.

Do you have a middle name?
yes, its Elizabeth and I love it. My mom gave my sisters and I all the same middle name. We hated it growing uo, but now that we are all getting married and having kids of our own, we love it. What do you think of my first painting?
I did this painting when I was , it was my first time painting. What do you think?
Pretty decent handling of the painting medium, but it is a weak composition. Placing your subject dead center, unless you know how to pull it off, is a nono. Had you painted the image on a horizontally oriented canvas, and then placed the bottle offcenter slightly lower than halfway up, it would be a stronger composition. Your shadows could be stronger, too, as indicated by the highlights on the bottle. Not bad for a first try, though.

Excellent. I love the texture and flow of the mountains. I think the foreground water...based on the light source and the style of water....should probably be a bit darker...at least dark enough to match the contrast in the mountains. And the whale could use a couple of sharp highlights at the front end...reflections of the source of light on a wet surface.... but other than that...GREAT JOB, dear dirl!
What do you think of my dark poem, CC please?
This poem is about all those poor souls that think they should cut themselves to feel. Please tell me what you like and dislike. Please be honest but not rude. BTW Im not a cutter.
That was really really good. I loved the imagery it gave me and the feelings or chills you get knowing this person is doing something dangerous and being inside their mind. I really liked how you showed their cutting getting more serious after time...it was truly great!

What do you think Nature is?
What is Nature?
Nature, in the broadest sense, is equivalent to the natural world, physical universe, material world or material universe. quotNaturequot refers to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. Manufactured objects and human interaction generally are not considered part of nature unless qualified in ways such as quothuman naturequot or quotthe whole of naturequot. Nature is generally distinguished from the supernatural. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the galactic.

What do you think its like to be dead?
ive been wondering that since last september when my uncle past away...
Hi Kid Vicious, brbrI once spoke to a man, that had died and was brought back minutes later due to medical assistance.... When I asked him what he felt as he was dying.. he simply responded quotIm not really surequot.. he said when it was occurring, he felt as if he was watching it from the outside.. as if he was watching a movie of his very own death... But he wasnt quite sure if it was during or after his death...brgtgtgtgtgtbrPersonally,Id like to believe.. it was after his short death that he was quotwatchingquot himself... It would be proof that we certainly do have an afterlife... There are some that believe once you die, you are nonexistent and have no such awareness of your death... Nothingness basically... As far as science goes, once the brain dies you no longer exist... But if this is true, if this man I spoke to was indeed looking upon his lifeless corpse... Theres no way it was his brain providing this consciousness... According to science anyway...brgtgtgtgtbrbrPerhaps, the brain is just a short lodging of our memories and thoughts... Perhaps we do in fact live on...........brbrThanks, for the question!brbrMy regards! .. and be strong, your uncle will always live on.. in your heart...

What do you think is your purpose in life? I sure havenrsquot figure mine out yet!?
Weve all gone through this phase in life, sometimes more often than others. But havent you ever asked yourself, quotWhy am I on this earthquot? What am I here for? Exactly just what is your purpose in life?
It depends on phases in life. When I was younger, it was to be a missionary. I dreamt of going to some faraway place and teach there. Then things got in the way. My life goals changed. I finally got married in my late twenties. In my thirties, I was like everyone else, fighting for financial security and getting ahead in my career. I am in my forties now. I am less interested in a career and more interested in doing things that count... and things that I love.... nurturing my kids, being a good teacher... I reckon that I have come one full cycle. Although I did not become a missionary, I still became a teacher... and a good one. Although I do not have great material wealth, I have the love and affection of family...Next stage? Dont know yet.... maybe continue being a useful person who can be a blessing to other peoples life?

What do you think is the scariest thing about being a human?
I think it is the uncertainty we have to face every minute.
Self awareness, self conciousness, and, especially, foreknowledge of death.
What do you think is the purpose of life?
I think the main purpose of life is to shape ourselves of what we want to become, despite of the dangerous surroundings and obstacles.
whatever you decide to dedicate your life to. whatever you do. is the purpose of YOUR life. you decide. you are right.
What do you think is the most memorable opening line in a book?

What do you think is the most important lesson we can learn from the life of Andres Bonifacio?
Andres Bonifacio is considered as the Father of the Philippine Revolution. He was the founder and later the supreme leader better known as Supremo of the independence movement quotKataastaasan, Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mgá Anak ng Bayanquot or simply known as the Katipunan
Great leaders need not be formally educated, neither rich or famous.. Ones commitment to the common cause which offered his life, time, talents and sincerity to serve is one factor which one can be considered a hero. This is Bonifacios humble share of doing what is expected of him a father figure of the liberation movement. It took his simple courage to spark the light on the quest for freedom... long live our past heroes.. In our midst were still longing to be one, but by just doing simple exemplary things for others to follow we can be heroes in our modern times..

What Do You Think Is The Meaning Of Life?
I Think The Meaning Of Life Is To Give Life
To be stronger then life
What do you think is the meaning of life?
Well.... its the question we all want to know the answer to. Even stupid answers are appreciated, Ill take whatever you got!
Meaning of Life? The Ultimate Question from the BeginningbrMeaning of Life? This has been the ultimate question since the beginning of mankind. It seems inherent in our nature to ask questions such as Where did we come from? How did I get here? Whats my purpose on earth? Where do I go when I die? Whats the meaning of all this? brbrMeaning of Life? The Answer Without GodbrMeaning of Life? Through the teaching of evolutionary science, materialism and moral relativism in our popular media and public school system, weve removed God from the potential answers to these ultimate questions of life. Without God, we lose any transcendent purpose for the universe in which we live. Without God, we lose any transcendent purpose to give meaning to our individual lives. We are nothing more than bugs struggling with survival until we die. All the achievements, the sacrifices, the good and beautiful efforts of people, the ugly and dark acts of people, are ultimately futile things of life. Without God, we also lose any possibility for life after death. When you remove the hope of heaven, you remove the ultimate value and purpose of life. What difference would it really make whether we lived like a Billy Graham or an Osama Bin Laden? Everyones fate would be the same anyway. This is the hopeless outlook of those who base their belief system on materialism, naturalism and the presupposition that life on earth is all there is.brbrMeaning of Life? The Answer With GodbrMeaning of Life? The answer to this question cannot come from human intelligence or reason, but only from the Creator himself who transcends our material world. As we see in todays naturalistic society, once we remove God from the equation, we start to lose all sense of purpose for mankind. But, if God exists, we really do have a transcendent purpose, and really do have meaning for our lives. Not only do we find daytoday significance in our lives, but an ultimate significance through our hope in eternal life. If God exists, we remove the moral relativism that pervades todays society, and we replace it with a standard of absolute right and wrong residing in the character of God Himself. This gives our daytoday choices significance too. God gave us the ability to choose whether we live by His moral laws or by whatever values we assign to ourselves through our own reason. As we find, we are not mere robots placed on this earth by God. Rather, we have absolute free will to follow what He says or not. We can either recognize God as the Creator of the universe, or we can deny that He exists. We can choose to live a meaningless life or a life with absolute and eternal purpose. brbrMeaning of Life? When was the Last Time You Really Asked this Question?brMeaning of Life? Who has time to ask this question anymore? Once weve finished high school biology or college philosophy, that question gets replaced by the daytoday rat race of work, family and the mortgage. However, if the last time we really asked that question, we answered it by imagining that we are the highest form of life in the evolutionary process, we have robbed ourselves of any real chance for meaning, purpose and eternal hope. Our existence and future are devalued from being children of God to being just one of many species of animals on this earth. If you look at the last years of history, its sad that mankind has felt the need to live according to alleged intelligence and reason rather than according to the laws and love of God. I encourage you to ask the question again

What do you think is more powerful Physical strength or the power of words?
quotI have little to offer thee, quot whispered the butterfly, quotbut all that I am is yours.quotbrbrCC Ryder brbrMy goal with this poetic effort was to try to put as much meaning as I could into the fewest words, and still maintain the musical aspect, the poetics of the poem itself.brbrI use it in English classes in college to introduce students to the power of words and the importance of word choice. At first glance, it really does not look like much, but when you start to contextualize all its littlest parts, things begin to happen. The first thing to do is to define for yourself the terms found in the poem, things like thee, whispered, butterfly, I am. So, what is a butterfly? Why would a poet pick the butterfly as the focus of the poem? Why does the butterfly whisper instead of saying or shouting or crying. What is this phrase quotI amquot about here in the poem? Isnt this supposed to be what man heard God say for the first time? How do these major parts fit together. brbrMost of the time it doesnt take the students long to define a butterfly as something delicate and beautiful, something easily destroyed that flutters instead of flies, kind of like a dance in flight from flower to flower, but the problem with the butterfly is that it doesnt have much in the way of protection. Its so powerless, and it seems as if it knows it, by what it whispered to the listener, or is it the reader, the butterfly is talking to? On balance, it would seem the quotI amquot persona holds the power by the nature of very phrase itself in terms of its social and religious context. God can do anything anytime anywhere. And about the only thing a butterfly can do is to get crushed in the wind, and that is why it whispers instead of shouts because it has a small voice in a small powerless body. If you fly then you gotta be light, right?brbrAnd these are the most usual responses to the poem, at first. Then, sometimes, not always, and not regularly, someone in the class whispers, saying yeah but wait, quotYeah, but wait, the butterfly also comes out of a cocoon. In fact, a butterfly does not even start out as a butterfly. At first, its a caterpillar, a bug, ugly being, that you want to squish away its ugliness. It kinda invites its own demise, either into a butterfly or a squished bug. So, then, what does being a caterpillar have to do with the power of the poem, the words there, taking up a line and a half of paper at most. Okay, what is this poem about, again? Oh yeah, its about the butterfly having not very much to offer to the listenerreader because its so small and insignificant, right? But what about the fact that theres more to it than being a butterfly making a small offering, nothing really. I wonder if the fact that it comes from being a caterpillar to a butterfly makes a difference in what the poem is trying to say to me? Lets see. quotAquot caterpillar becomes quotthequot butterfly in the poem, moving from insignificant ugly to less insignificant beautiful. What is happening actually here? In the simplest fo terms, the caterpillar is changing, yeah, chaning into a butterfly. But why would that be important in the poem, adding to its meaning for the listenerreader? What does it do again? Oh yeah, it changes. Change. What is change? Is it good? Is the fact that the butterfly can change from the caterpillar into a new quotselfquot important? Oh wait. Change is something that an ugly powerless little caterpillar and butterfly experience naturally while humans hate to change, but when change happens it comes from something powerful within the human being. In fact, many people focus on the fact that what makes the human being the most powerful of the species is due to the fact that she can change. Humans have the ability to change and that has proved to be their most powerful advantage of the rest of the world. So many extinctions have come from not having the ability to change. Whoah! Now that changes everything in terms of the poetic elements in the poem. Such a short poem carrying a very large point to be made about the nature of man. And, it begs the question, why does it take so much for mankind to change. We humans hate change. Or, is it the social part of ourselves hates change. Society hates change. It seeks status quo, sameness, a level of being that requires nothing. brbrNow, I think you can see that this poem is so much more than it appears to be. So, I ask you. What do you think is more powerful Physical strength or the power of words? I dont think its a hard choice. Do you? brbrWhen you can discuss a line and a half of words for three hours or more because whats in those words spills over into much more space than what is on a page of paper, I believe the answer becomes obvious. Words have the power to change people just as the caterpillar changes to become a butterfly, another being, changing from ugly to beautiful. Then when one adds to that the syntactical choices one makes in composing language, to consciously make the effort to cram into a very small space, as much meaning as words can carry, then you not only have reached the essence of what poetics is, but one has reached the goal of words, to change things. They are the dynamic that drives mans being. Man cannot even be physically strong without thinking about what that means first. She must define what that means before being able to achieve it. brbrI hope this clarifies it for ya. I certainly enjoyed thinkin bout the issue.brbrCC Ryderbrutopianwizard

What do you think is beyond our universe?
Ive always thought about this. I know that nobody knows whats out there but lets take some educated guesses. I mean we have our universe, but there has to be something beyond that, and then something beyond that, etc. Anyways i just want to know what others think, and if you believe there is other intelligent life forms out there.
nothing. our universe is existance, it is space, it is time, it is quotisnessquot. beyond that there is nothing, not even a beyond, since you need space for beyond.brbrso its a complete nothing, but not empty space, since there is no space.brbrso in a way there isnt even nothing, because for there to be some nothingness that would be something, nothingness, but there is no nothing because nothing is there... there isnt even a there for nothing to quotbequot in.brbrso no distance beyond universe, no time beyond universe. the universe is and thats it.brbrbut then you would wonder, what if i travelled to the edge what would happen if i tried to travel beyond it?brbrbut dont forget, you are as much that thing called universe as anything else, so for you to travel quotbeyondquot the boundary youd basically just be stretching out universe and always being on the edge of it, thats in fact what the edge is constantly doing.brbras for intelligent life forms. there are sooo many stars out there and sooo many planets, im not exactly sure what are the specific conditions on earth that caused intelligence to evolve in the life here, but i find it really hard to believe that it couldnt have happened anywhere else in the whole universe. brI just dont see that there is anything quite that rare about earth. brbri just found one estimate on a website, i dont know how trustworthy it is, but it seems to think that in the estimated number of earth like planets is ,,,,,,,.brbrif thats right, then the odds of intelligent life evolving on an earth like planet, would need to be somewhat close to or smaller than in ,,,,,,,. to really say that its really unlikely that there is no other intelligent life anywhere. i dont think there is anything quite that rare about earth.brbrwikipedia estimates there to be br,,,,,,, stars so it could be a reasonable number i think.

What do you think happens when we die?
Your mind leaves you and the body your parents, sisters, brothers, friends and lovers recognize to be you is only a body in your clothes and the person you were doesnt exist anywhere, anymore. You need to be positive, though. When you could have been a fish, an ape, a paramecium or nothing at all, how astonishing it must be to be anything at all! How lucky are you to be a human to be aware of the life you have and have the ability to be a part this miraculous experience. This life ends with the last bolt of thought in your mind, so do not for a minute entertain the musings of death and cherish everything you feel, the good and the bad.
What do you think happens to you when you die?
I mean you could believe in reincarnation or in heaven or hell or a spirit that no one cen see. Is it possible you live a life on earth, then a life in heaven then back again on earth as something different etc.
Its simple. brbr You go back to that place you were before you were born.
Do you judge books by their cover?
Honestly, sometimes I do, and I sometimes judge them on the title too. But now Im getting out of that habit. Do you judge books by their cover? Thanks!
I do, and every time that I do it I mentally slap myself, because of the whole quotYou shouldnt judge a book by its coverquot, but I usually dont want to read a book with a boring cover and the ones with the interesting covers are the ones that leap out at you in the bookshoplibrary and intrigue you to read the book itself. And I also do judge them by their titles, Ill scan the bookshelves and my eyes will pass by those with boring, average titles.brI try not to, but I cant help it
Do you judge a book by its cover?
I do! I work in a library and constantly pick books based purely on the cover!
Sadly yes. We are all visually influenced food, people etc and books are no exception to this.brbrI am certain that they have published books before than re done the cover and sales have increased.

Do you judge a book by its cover?
I shouldnt, but I do. I think we all do to some extent. In a library, I always pick up the prettiest books or the ones with the catchiest titles. Is this the case for most people?
Hate to admit it but I usually look for titles that appeal and then see if its something I want to read.brbrIn general titles that are a little offthewall attract my eye. Like Define quotNormalquot by Julie Anne Peters. I saw the title and it made me wonder what it was about.brbrOther times I do searches online for books that pertain to a particular subject or to find books similiar to what Ive read and liked in the past.brbrIm an aspiring writer myself and when I create a title for my work I try to think of something thats going to catch someones eye. But I also try to think of a title that ties into the story without giving away whats about in its entirity. Cover art can help, and does draw attention to the eye. It also usually gives an indication of what its about or at the very least a sense of the genre its written for.brbrIll be honest though, there were several times that I thought about buying Harry Potter when it had first come out, but didnt because it was in hardback. Even with paperbacks price does play a factor in whether or not Ill buy the book. Usually if its out of my price range but something I really want to buy Ill check to see if the library has it so I can see if its something that I really want to readown.brbrGood luck though and hope this helped.
Do you honestly think that the world will never end?
Yes, after Jesus comes to reign a thousand years then Satan will loose for awhile then the world as we know it will end and receive its celestial glory.
Do you hide yourself behind a wall of illusion..?
Illusion had given me up already..brcant hide so far anymore..brbrI am really sucked of just but in a world of dreams..brI feel like a fossil..brbrAfter here too busy to get all dreams done..
Do you hear the devils and demons speaking to you?
Sometimes they use your friends to put self doubt in your mind. Sometimes they use you to put things in your own mind.
yes, they prefer to be called, conservative news channels
Do you have to like someone to find them funny?
I think think the answer is yes, very much so.brbrPart of the gift of most people in comedy is that knack of connecting to the audience No matter how how much you work the material and practise etc if you have not got something about the delivery that people find appealing then there is a danger that you will fall flat on your face. I have seen an awful lot of comedy and I found this rule to be personally true. Equally, how many times have you heard someone say, or said yourself about a comedian I do no like him closely followed by I dont think he is funny.brbrYou can practise the material for ever but ultimately what you are practising is delivery, likability, above all else. That is also why the same joke can get a bigger laugh from different people. Slickness of delivery is one thing, likability often practised slickness is the key.brbrAndy Millman is not funny, he is a bit of a weed, selfish, forgets all about Maggie and although always pulls himself back in time is a bit of a knob You playing Andy Millman, including in When the Whistle Blows, is very funny either because you are a likeable guy, or have learnt to come across that way! So the funny comes from a likeable person, you, playing a quite unlikeable character.brbrIn short, Yes.

Do you have to know everything?
you can never know everything
Do you have to be a man to be cocky or can women be cocky as well?
Suck my stick! How was that?
Do you have the stomach for this dark poetry?
Just finished reading a story about a dude that killed his wife and kids....and had to write.
Do you have the stomach for this strong opinion?brbrAs I usually do, I was reading this aloud, but it read so awkwardly that I stopped reading out loud at quotdown an ugly sneerquot because I couldnt make it read like poetry, it reads like industrial drain cleaner. After that things got vague one of the reasons I read out loud is so that when the topic is boring I dont just drift off. This poem is like feet of muslin and no mummy. All that foreshadowing and you ran out of steam before you even GOT TO THE STORY.
Do you have everything that you could wish for or is there something missing?
Do we ever have all!!! and if we did what would be left to want Id hate to be left not wanting more!
